Position Summary
We are looking for two reliable and detail-oriented "Accounts Associates" to join our team in Kigali. The ideal candidates must have strong practical accounting knowledge and hands-on experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting. Proficiency in Tally ERP is mandatory.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking long-term career growth within a professional audit firm environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts for multiple clients.
- Record daily financial transactions using "Tally ERP" .
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
- Assist in VAT, PAYE, RSSB, and other statutory filings.
- Support audit assignments by preparing schedules and working papers.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Assist in payroll processing and compliance matters.
- Ensure compliance with Rwanda tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Provide general accounting and administrative support to the audit team.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in Tally ERP.
- Experience working in an audit firm or handling multiple company accounts is preferred.
- Good understanding of Rwanda tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
