Job Description

The Capacity Development Specialist at BK Foundation is a key role focused on enhancing the skills and competencies of Beneficiaries and Staff of BK Foundation and BK Group’s Subsidiaries. The Capacity Development Specialist will design, implement, and evaluate capacity-building programs that align with the Foundation's and BK Group’s strategy, ensuring both employees and beneficiaries are empowered to achieve organizational and personal growth. This position requires a proactive approach to learning and development and a deep commitment to fostering sustainable impact. The key performance indicators (KPIs) for this role include the number of beneficiaries and employees trained, the amount of funds mobilized for the Empowerment pillar, improvement in skill levels as measured by pre- and post-training assessments, stakeholder satisfaction rates, successful partnerships established for capacity-building initiatives, and budget adherence and resource utilization efficiency. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Achievement of the Empowerment Pillar of the BK Foundation and Support Capacity development strategy for employees and beneficiaries in alignment with BK Group’s Strategy.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
  • Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of empowerment initiatives.
  • Design any other innovative initiatives that are aligned with BK Foundation Strategy and BK Group Strategy.
  • Develop all needed Modules (Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy, ESG, etc.) that will meet the needs of the organization on the empowerment Direction.
  • Design and deliver tailored training programs for beneficiaries focusing on their specific needs in areas such as entrepreneurship, financial literacy, ESG, and any other technical skills.
  • Coordinate Field Activities and community engagement and ensure that the BK Foundation and BK Group and its subsidiary is represented and protected.
  • Oversee professional development initiatives related to Financial literacy, Entrepreneurship and ESG for BK Group employees to enhance their leadership and functional competencies.
  • Collaborate with external training providers and consultants to deliver specialized courses.
  • Develop and submit quality capacity Development Reports before deadlines.
  • Work closely with internal departments, external partners, and beneficiaries to co-create capacity-building solutions.
  • Foster partnerships with educational institutions, NGOs, and industry experts to enhance program delivery.
  • Engage and Collaborate efficiently with Local leaders and Communities and ensure that the Brand of the BK Foundation, BK Group and its subsidiaries is well represented and protected.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation tools to assess the impact of capacity building programs.
  • Prepare detailed reports on program outcomes and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on progress and program effectiveness.
  • Record all key lessons into lessons’ learnt repository and keep all necessary records including but not limited to Photos, Videos, Reports and success stories.
  • Stay updated on global and national best practices and emerging trends in capacity development.
  • Develop and disseminate knowledge-sharing materials to promote continuous learning.
  • Introduce innovative tools and methodologies to improve training efficiency and engagement.
  • Support the Organization to mobilize resources that will be allocated into Empowerment Pillar and other capacity Development initiatives
  • Manage budgets allocated for capacity-building initiatives, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Actively participate in planning, performance evaluations, and regular team meetings, contributing to the foundation’s strategic goals.
  • Foster a safe and collaborative work environment, promoting strong communication across teams.
  • Uphold BK Foundation and BK Group’s core values and ethical standards in all financial and administrative activities.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Project Management, Business Administration, Development Economics, Entrepreneurship Management, or related fields.
  • Master’s degree preferred in International Development, Project Management, Business Administration, Development Economics, Entrepreneurship Management, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in capacity development, training, or organizational development roles.
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Experience working with NGOs, corporate social responsibility initiatives, or development organizations is a plus.
  • Having professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Etc) is an added value.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align training programs with organizational goals.
  • Facilitation Skills: Strong ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Proficiency in assessing program impact and making data driven improvements.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Innovation: Knowledge of digital learning tools and modern training methodologies.
