Maintenance Technician (Factory & Facility)

Plasmaco Ltd is a leading Rwandan manufacturer specialized in High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes and related fittings.

Maintenance Technician (Factory & Facility) Position:

Maintenance Technician (Mechanical + Electrical)

Education:

Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Vocational Training

Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years in general maintenance (factory, building, or facility)
Experience in repairs of electrical,and mechanical systems
Extrusion/HDPE experience not required

Technical Skills:

Mechanical Skills:

Basic maintenance of machines, motors, pumps
Repair of bearings, belts, and mechanical parts
Basic welding and fabrication (preferred)

Electrical Skills:

Troubleshooting electrical wiring, lights, switches, sockets
Basic knowledge of motors and control panels

Plumbing & Facility Skills:

Repair of pipelines, leaks, valves
Maintenance of toilets, taps, and drainage systems
General office repairs (doors, locks, furniture, lighting)

Responsibilities:

Perform daily maintenance of factory and office facilities
Attend and resolve breakdowns quickly
Conduct preventive maintenance
Maintain tools and spare parts
Ensure safety and cleanliness

General Requirements:

Ability to work independently as a single technician
Knowledge of safety procedures (PPE, electrical safety)
Flexible and reliable
