About the Opportunity

Mount Sinai Hospital is looking for a highly skilled, motivated, and dedicated Medical Imaging Technician (A1/A0) to join our Radiology Department. The successful candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including:
    • Echography (Ultrasound)
    • Digital X-ray Radiography
    • Computed Tomography (CT Scan)
    • Mammography
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning and high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Maintain patient safety, dignity, comfort, and confidentiality.
  • Operate, inspect, and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with hospital standards.
  • Adhere to radiation safety, infection prevention, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate maintenance when necessary.
  • Work closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A1/A0 Bachelor's Degree in Medical Imaging, Radiography, or a related field.
  • Valid and current professional practicing license (RAHPC or equivalent).
  • Practical experience operating:
    • Ultrasound (Echography)
    • Digital X-ray equipment
    • CT Scanner
    • Mammography equipment
  • Strong technical knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
