About the Opportunity
Mount Sinai Hospital is looking for a highly skilled, motivated, and dedicated Medical Imaging Technician (A1/A0) to join our Radiology Department. The successful candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including:
- Echography (Ultrasound)
- Digital X-ray Radiography
- Computed Tomography (CT Scan)
- Mammography
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain patient safety, dignity, comfort, and confidentiality.
- Operate, inspect, and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with hospital standards.
- Adhere to radiation safety, infection prevention, and quality assurance protocols.
- Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate maintenance when necessary.
- Work closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A1/A0 Bachelor's Degree in Medical Imaging, Radiography, or a related field.
- Valid and current professional practicing license (RAHPC or equivalent).
- Practical experience operating:
- Ultrasound (Echography)
- Digital X-ray equipment
- CT Scanner
- Mammography equipment
- Strong technical knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
